    Event Description:
    Scarecrow Festival - Oct. 13, 2018, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

    *Build your own scarecrow (while supplies last, you may bring your own clothes if you like), Scarecrow clothes provided by Hospice and Solutions Thrift Stores and other wonderful donors. (This is a fundraiser for Special Olympics and the museum.)
    *Live entertainment with Mr. Tommy (sponsored by San An Federal Credit Union) and
    *Paw Patrol Characters from 2 - 4 p.m.

    *Traditional Craft demonstrations 
    *Touch - a - truck 
    *Barrel train rides through the crazy eight corn maze
    *Petting zoo 
    *Face painting 
    *Pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting
    *Bounce house, slide 
    *Carnival games with prizes (while supplies last)
    *Pony rides and MORE!
    *100+ Great vendors, food trucks and special surprises! 
    *Museum Concessions will have drinks for $1, hot dogs starting at $2 and cheeseburgers, grilled chicken, and more..
    *Some vendors have FREE give-away items while supplies last
    *Too many activities to list!
    *FREE Professional photos (children and families) First come, first serve basis. Photos will be posted on Facebook the following week for guests to download.
    *Blacksmith demonstrations 
    *All museum buildings open, docents in period costumes
    *Plenty of photo opportunities and our very own "live" scarecrow, Ruby Cornbread and our wonderfully decorated hay rolls.

    *FREE parking with the Sheriff's Mounted Posse (donations appreciated, but not necessary.

    *There is also FREE remote parking at the Robert Sumner Judicial Courthouse 38053 Live Oak Avenue, Dade City. Bus transportation to and from the event. You will be dropped off and picked up right at the gate of the event.

    This event has been going on for many years and is one of the museums largest events of the year. Thank you to TECO and Suncoast Credit Union for being sponsors of the event.

    Regular museum ADMISSION. $10 adults/$5 students, children under 5 free. (no senior discount) CASH ONLY EVENT. 

    Still accepting a few more vendors, space is limited: www.PioneerFloridaMuseum.org for vendor forms/applications and information. 
    Regular vendors $45, Food Vendors $65 for 1 day events. 
    (We already most of the mlm type vendors: LulaRoe, Paparazzi, LipSense, Origami Owl, USBorne Books, Tupperware, ice cream, kettle corn, funnel cakes,hot dogs, hamburgers, lemonade & corn dogs.) Too many to list them all.
