    About Us

Lions of Wesley Chapel is a Service Club, not a Social Club but we are very sociable!

We are looking for people who want to make a difference in their community by serving others. You will become part of a worldwide movement of 1.5 million people in 212 countries.

Locally we focus on a couple of areas. We provide diabetes awareness information and free screenings at major events. In 2017, we started an initiative to ensure that every preschool in Pasco County has the opportunity to screen their children for five eye diseases that lead to amblyopia (Lazy Eye). The earlier these diseases are detected the better outcomes for the children. If that is not enough, we also work on collect used glasses; provide grants for eye exams and eye surgeries; environmental projects; support the local food bank; and just added Child Cancer projects.

In 2018, we are launching our LEO (Leadership, Experience Opportunity) program – for young people between the ages of 12 and 18. This will give them an opportunity to serve in the community alongside the Lions. We will provide the leadership as well as grants to young people who excel – there is a world of opportunity for them.
We are ready. Are you willing? We cannot do any of this without you.

We meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 6:30 PM, at the Lexington Oaks Community Center.

    Everyone is welcome.
