North Tampa Bay Chamber Announces “Community Office Hours” with Community Foundation Tampa Bay Representative in Pasco County
WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. – March 2026 — The North Tampa Bay Chamber is pleased to announce a new partnership with Community Foundation Tampa Bay (CFTB) that will bring philanthropic tools and nonprofit connections to Pasco County through “community office hours” at the Chamber’s Wesley Chapel office.
Through these regularly scheduled times at the office, the Chamber and Foundation are offering local nonprofits, businesses, and community partners direct access to philanthropic expertise and community connection resources.
Chuck Tiernan, Senior Director of Community Connections at CFTB will bring his nearly 30 years of nonprofit experience (9+ at CFTB) to the Chamber on the second and fourth Thursday afternoon each month – from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. The North Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce office is located at 28329 Paseo Drive #195, Wesley Chapel, FL 33543.
These office hours are designed to help both new and existing community partners build relationships and gain a better understanding of how Community Foundation Tampa Bay supports the communities it serves through philanthropy. Pasco is one of five counties served by CFTB, with Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough and Pinellas communities also benefiting from their philanthropic leadership.
Hope Kennedy, CEO of the North Tampa Bay Chamber, shared her enthusiasm for the new partnership. Kennedy said, “It is exciting to bring the philanthropic expertise of Community Foundation Tampa Bay into our community on a regular basis. The Foundation has supported our area for years, and now our local nonprofit businesses, as well as the supporters of those nonprofits, have easier access to opportunities and informed perspectives. This partnership fits perfectly with the Chamber’s emphasis on supporting this segment of our business community, and I look forward to working closely with Chuck and the team to help form quality collaborations that serve our residents and organizations alike.”
On the first and third Thursday of the month, similar “community office hours” are held at the New Port Richey Public Library at 5939 Main St, New Port Richey, FL.
Community members interested in meeting with Tiernan during office hours are encouraged to email him at ctiernan@cftampabay.org to schedule a time, although no appointment is required if in the area and you are invited to stop by.
