2026 Glazer Family Small Business Fund
The North Tampa Bay Chamber is proud to partner with the Glazer Family—owners of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers—to deliver critical relief funding to small businesses across Tampa Bay and West Central Florida.
In response to Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the Glazer Family committed $2 million in recovery funding, including $1 million dedicated specifically to small businesses. Through multiple funding rounds, hundreds of local businesses have already received support to help them rebuild, recover, and move forward.
“Our small businesses are the heartbeat of this region,” said Michael Berthelette, Board Chair of the North Tampa Bay Chamber Foundation. “These grants represent resilience, recovery, and the power of community.”
This program is administered in partnership with regional chambers, including the North Tampa Bay Chamber and seven other Tampa Bay–area chambers.
2026 Grants
- $5,000 grants with three rounds of winners
- Open, rolling applications with fixed review dates
- Based on need, not location
- Must be registered business for 12+ months
- Variety of reasons to apply:
- Recovering from setbacks
- Addressing challenges
- Important to identify how funds will create a solution
2026 PROJECTED TIMELINE
- March 25, 2026 – $400,000 reinvestment announced & applications open
- June 2, 2026 – Round 1 applications reviewed
- June 23, 2026 – Round 1 recipients announced
- August 18, 2026 – Round 2 applications reviewed
- September 8, 2026 – Round 2 recipients announced
- October 27, 2026 – Round 3 applications reviewed (applications close)
- November 17, 2026 – Round 3 recipients announced
- August 2026 – January 2027 – Gameday storytelling / promotion of winners

North Tampa Bay Chamber Foundation Business Grant Award Process
The North Tampa Bay Chamber Business Grant Awards recognize outstanding businesses within the Chamber’s geographic footprint. The award process follows these steps:
Independent Judging – Applications will be evaluated by an independent panel of judges based on established criteria.
Score Compilation – The Chamber office will compile the judges' scores to determine rankings.
Membership Bonus – Businesses that are members of the North Tampa Bay Chamber or Greater Pasco Chamber will receive one additional point added to their final score.
Award Determination – The Business Grant award committee will review the compiled scores and determine Grant award amounts based on performance.
Final Approval – The list of applicants will be submitted to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers/Glazer Family Foundation for final approval.
Fund Distribution – Once funds are received, the North Tampa Bay Chamber Foundation will distribute Grant awards to the selected businesses.
