Selecting Candidates to Interview

As you review applications, consider both the candidate and the overall composition of the Board. Look for:

• Leadership, experience and professional expertise
• Engagement with the Chamber and its mission
• Ability to contribute as an active governing Board member
• Industry and geographic representation
• Community involvement and connections
• Perspectives that strengthen and balance the Board

With three FY27 positions available, the first step is simply to identify candidates to move forward for an interview.

We aren’t looking for one “perfect” candidate — we’re building a strong Board as a whole.
